EMS, or Express Mail Service, is an international postal service offered by postal administrations worldwide, including The Mauritius Post Limited (MPL). EMS provides customers with a fast and reliable delivery option for sending documents and merchandise globally.

Speed
EMS ensures swift delivery of items, with guaranteed delivery times to various destinations.
Prohibited Items
Certain items are prohibited from being sent via EMS, including:

- Any articles prohibited in the destination country
Compensation
In case of loss, delay, or non-delivery of an EMS item, compensation may be available to the sender, subject to the terms and conditions set by MPL and international postal regulations.
Size and weight limits
Maximum dimensions are 1.5m (150cm) on any side or 3m (300cm for length + width), with a maximum weight of 20 kg.
Coverage period
Insurance Certificate must cover the entire renewal period of the licence.
